April is Month of the Military Child!
At Northern Shores Elementary, we want to honor, highlight and celebrate
our military-connected students. We remember that military kids serve too!
● Join us in our spirit days during the week of April 4th:
-Monday, April 4- Cool Camo day!
Wear something with a camo print.
-Tuesday, April 5- Travel Tuesday!
Wear something from a different state or country.
Or you can wear something to represent your branch of the military.
-Wednesday, April 6- Purple Up Day!
Wear purple to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices.
-Thursday, April 7- Stars & Sparkles Day!
Our military-connected students shine bright! Wear something shiny, metallic, sparkly or with stars on it.
-Friday, April 8- Patriotic Day!
Wear the patriotic colors of red, white and blue.
● We will be creating a Wall of Honor to highlight our military-connected students.
Feel free to have your student creatively complete the form below and return it to NSES to be featured on our display:

(Please have your student write their name on the back of their paper to maintain their privacy.)
